The MARC Collective Bargaining Basics Program is intended for the management person who has NO or little negotiating experience.
MARC facilitators have conducted the training for entire negotiating teams that included experienced and non-experienced members. Everything from the composition of the negotiating team to roles and responsibilities of each team member are explained in detail.
The MARC Collective Bargaining Basic Manual provides information for setting up the team, pre-negotiation information gathering, issue identification, documentation, strategies, contract costing dos' and don'ts, how to deal with difficult behaviors from the other team to the final agreement. In addition, impasse and Strike Preparation can be covered if requested.
